For Coach Auriemma, he also got to celebrate his victory over legendary UCLA coach, John Wooden – surpassing his record of 10 national titles. The “Big 3” – Breanna Stewart, Morgan Tuck, Moriah Jefferson – are also credited for their relentless efforts on the court as they played their final game together. Their overall record together is 115-5. For junior, Moriah Jefferson, it’ll be a tough transition as her “Big 3” comrades graduate this Spring.
But until then, it’s celebration time back in Storrs, CT! Congratulations to the UConn Huskies!
