We’ve all grown to know and appreciate the vintage sound of Brooklyn MC, Joey Bada$$ since his emergence onto the scene. As he crept his way into the mainstream spotlight though, it was only going to be a matter of time until his sound would start to change. Sometimes we hate it when this happens – when our favorite underground artist gets transformed into something we’re not used to – and sometimes we’re pleasantly surprised by it.
Such is the case with his new single, “Teach Me.” It’s a far stretch from what I’m used to hearing from Joey, but I don’t hate it. Keisza’s vocals on the hook is a nice addition.
