China’s Rap quartet, Higher Brothers, cook up a new video with viral Chicago rapper, Famous Dex. On “Made in China,” the Brothers prove that Hip Hop is – and for some time – now, a universal culture and genre of music. The video follows members, MaSiWei, DZ, PS.P and Melo through various, Chinese inspired scenes that spotlight their heritage. I mean, the song does talk about everything that’s made in China. Dex joins in on the closing verse but couldn’t make it out to China for his cameo in the video. Still a dope, must-watch!

A Filipino-American, it’s always great to see my fellow Asians embracing Hip Hop and utilizing as an outlet for self-expression. To witness the culture and the music become so universal is a beautiful thing.
