Supakali has been relatively quiet this year, but today – on his 27th birthday – he makes his return with a new video! “See What I See” featuring Renee Gardner is a cut off Supakali’s forthcoming project. The song finds Kali putting a modern spin on Mary J. Blige’s classic record. As for the video, shot by Michael Della Polla, the camera follows Kali through the streets of New York City – his temporary home away from home (Atlanta) – as he raps about what he see’s (and has seen), day to day.
Supakali’s new project, “Soon You’ll Understand” is set to drop later this Fall/Winter. In the meantime, enjoy the visuals and let the music hit your soul. If you don’t get it now, soon you’ll understand..
